I bought another TV from a retailer last year, a better known brand, and frankly never liked the quality of the picture. It was also having issues with my cable system for some reason.
The Sansui – I’ve never heard of the brand – was exactly what I was looking for and at the price offered I decided to replace it and take a risk.
The picture, after adjusting the factory settings, is wonderful – and the sound is very clear and “round”. DVD’s play beautifully – I have not tried the MP3 – but the sound is so wonderful and it has plenty of USB ports for additions.
I hoped it would be “as good” as the TV I am replacing – with addition of an internal DVD player – but I had not expected it to be so much better.
